India – Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) & Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) co - hosted a luncheon for H.E. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his economic team. At Centara Grand on Monday 23rd February 2009.
On Wednesday May the 28th a dinner talk was organized by India Thai Business Association (ITBA) formerly India Thai Business Forum (ITBF) jointly with India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) at the Rembrandt Hotel, Bangkok. The topic of the talk was "Thailand Investment Year 2008 - 2009" and the speech was delivered by His Excellency Mr. Suwit Khunkitti - Deputy Prime Minister cum Industry Minister of Thailand. The talk was attended by many people mostly businessmen of Indian origin.
The speaker His Excellency Mr. Suwit Khunkitti was introduced by Mr. Satish Sehgal (Chairman of ITBA). He said that His Excellency has been the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand 6 and held various political positions, that the only position left was that of the Prime Minister of Thailand. He also remarked that H.E. Mr. Suwit Khunkitti is a friend of India.

15th August 2007, India Thai Chamber of Commerce and Indian Embassy Hosted a dinner in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Independence day of India and the 60th Anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Republic of India and Kingdom of Thailand at the ballroom of the Rembrandt hotel. It was a grand success with over 500 attendants.
