Industrial Policy Subgroup :

Purpose and Scope

This group will study existing government policies with respect to the major industries in which our members are active. The group can take the further step of obtaining comments from our members regarding any problems they are facing. This can then be taken up with appropriate government officials to see what can be done to resolve the issues. These problems could be in terms of capacity, operations, or duties and protections.

This committee is sub-divided into two groups :

The Textile Industry : managed by Mr. D.Devadas

The Gems and Jewellery Industry : managed by Mr. Susheel Saraff.

FTA Subcommittee:

Purpose and Scope

This group would study what items should be included in the FTA and coordinate with the appropriate authorities in the Government.

Managed by Mr. Deepak Mittal   and Mr. Lalit Kumar

Industrial Information Exchange Subcommittee:

Purpose and Scope

This group would arrange talks from experts from major industries such as textiles, gem and jewellery, chemicals, and shipping etc. for the benefit of all our members.

Coordination with other Chambers of Commerce:

Purpose and Scope

A subgroup should be created which will coordinate with other chambers of commerce, and see how they are operating and see how we can benefit from them, or make a joint presentation to the Government when necessary.

Membership Subcommittee:

Purpose and Scope

This committee would study that all the records with respect to the members are correct, that all the dues are paid, and also how to get more members involved.

Managed actively by all Executive Directors, coordinated and monitored by Mr. S.S. Phool.

Facility Committee:

Purpose and Scope

This committee will study all the facilities available at the club, their present usage and operating costs. It will also study what else can be done, and put up a complete proposal to the board on what facilities should be continued, withdrawn, improved or added.

Managed by Mr. Direk Hora and supported by a team consisting of Mr. U.C. Gunecha , Mr. Deven Doshi. Also supported by some volunteer ordinary members of the ITCC namely Mr. Davinder Saluja , Mr. Mohan Mirpuri and Mr. Arvind Sachdev.

Program Committee:

Purpose and Scope

This committee will be responsible for organising social programs like Diwali, Holi etc. in cooperation with other groups or associations.

Will be managed by members appointed on case to case basis.

Fundraising Committee:

Purpose and Scope

This committee will be responsible for evolving and implementing projects for fundraising for the Chamber.

Will be managed by members appointed on case to case basis.
